With a variety of manual therapies, medical acupuncture, rehabilitative exercise, and lifestyle/nutritional advice, I empower my patients to take control of their health and free themselves from pain and dysfunction. I am a firm believer in patient education. I always do my best to explain a patient’s condition, and more importantly, what they can do to help themselves get better.
Before starting at Orleans Integrative Medicine, I gained experience working at St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto, various neurological rehab centres and sport medicine centres in Ottawa, as well as with high performance athletes in Ottawa as the Region 5 Team Doctor for the Ontario Soccer Association.
I have been able to use these experiences and develop injury prevention programs, optimal performance programs, and rehabilitative programs for golfers, hockey players, and other athletes of all levels.
I became a Chiropractor because:
Regardless of our titles, healthcare professionals are all healers. We assess our patients, and try to implement changes that will better their health and their lives. For me, becoming a chiropractor and medical acupuncture practitioner allowed me the best opportunity to better the lives of my patients. It gave me the tools the help people with any pain or injury, and the knowledge to know when someone is outside of my scope.
There are a lot of ways to make money in this world, but there is nothing more rewarding than having someone tell you their pain is gone for the first time in years.
My personal philosophy is:
Stay up to date on the latest research, and you’ll have the best tools available to help your patients.
